Khoroni Casino slots online - what it really means

The slot floor at Khoroni

On our gaming floor in Thohoyandou, South Africa, we operate around 150 slot machines. They run all day and all night, every day of the year. No planned breaks, no seasonal closures, no “maintenance week” where everything shuts down. When people search for Khoroni Casino slots online, this is important to understand early - our slot action happens on site at the resort, not on a remote online platform.

This is a choice, not a technical limitation. It is simply the way our casino is structured.

The casino is inside the Khoroni Hotel Casino Convention Resort on Mphephu Street in Thohoyandou. We form part of the Peermont Group, which manages a number of casino resorts around South Africa. Khoroni is the Peermont property in Limpopo Province. That group setup is more than just branding; it has a direct impact on which slot titles are available on our floor and how often we can rotate and refresh machine inventory.

Slot machines, progressives and recent additions

We do not keep a static slot mix. The floor is updated from time to time as new content comes in. In April 2024, for example, we introduced four Light and Wonder titles. That batch included “Jewel of the Dragon Progressive”, “Prosperity Tortoise” and “A Thousand Warriors”. On that product set, the Grand progressive opened at R50,000 and the Major at R2,500. In the same period, we installed four Scientific Games “Jin Ji Bao Xi” machines with a linked progressive that started at R100,000.

Those installations were part of an ongoing pattern, not a once-off promotion. We actively bring in linked progressive jackpot games, and if you walk the floor at different points in the year, you will see that cycle in the line-up.

It is important to keep in mind that progressive jackpot values move constantly. They can change several times over in the space of a day, which is faster than any static publication can reflect. If a specific jackpot size is critical to your visit, the safest option is to phone ahead or ask at the casino desk when you arrive. Screenshots or older posts from a few weeks back should not be treated as current figures.

With around 150 slots powered up 24/7, there is generally enough machine availability regardless of what time you enter the casino.

Table games

Our floor is not only about slots. We also operate 8 table games. The mix at the moment is 6 roulette tables and 2 blackjack tables. According to the official casino information, roulette minimums start from R10 per bet, while blackjack begins from R50 per hand.

Table operating times are not the same as the slot schedule. The tables open from 13h00 until closing time. The slot area does not close during this - it stays open throughout, around the clock.

The official casino page currently lists 150 slot machines, 8 tables, Roulette from R10, Blackjack from R50, slots open 24/7, and table games from 13h00 until closing time. If your visit is focused mainly on table play, it is worth arriving after 13h00 to ensure the tables are in session when you get to the floor.

Getting here and accessing the floor

Putting together a visit to Khoroni is fairly straightforward, especially if you plan a little bit in advance.

1. First, check khoroni.co.za before travelling. We post current promotions there, plus any changes to the slot or table mix that matter on the day.
2. Then call us on +27 (0)15 962 4600 or send an email to [email protected] if you need to confirm specific details or secure a hotel reservation.
3. Travel through to Mphephu Street in Thohoyandou, Limpopo Province. For GPS use: S 22°58’11”, E 30°27’23”.
4. If you are staying over, check in at the hotel reception. We have around 82 rooms available on the property.
5. From the hotel side you walk through into the casino floor. Slot play is accessible 24 hours a day.
6. At the casino desk you can request current progressive jackpot figures and get a quick summary of any promotions that may be active that day.
7. Before you take a seat at a roulette or blackjack table, it is worth confirming that the session is open according to the hours listed above.

For land-based play, there is no prior account registration. You come to the property and enter the casino through the normal access points.

Searching for Khoroni Casino slots online

A number of guests first find us by searching for Khoroni Casino slots online, and it is worth addressing what that search will and will not turn up. You will find information about our slot floor, our progressive jackpot titles and our resort facilities — but you will not find a separate online casino platform operated under the Khoroni name. All of the slot content described on this page, from the Light and Wonder titles to the Scientific Games Jin Ji Bao Xi machines, exists on the physical floor at Thohoyandou. The most reliable way to get current information before your visit is to check khoroni.co.za or call us directly on +27 (0)15 962 4600, rather than relying on third-party listings that may reflect older details about our machine mix or progressive values.

Khoroni and the Peermont Group

Khoroni operates as one of the properties in the Peermont Hotels, Casinos and Resorts portfolio. The group manages central reservations, as well as group sales, via its own dedicated channels, which run separately from our local property lines.

If you are arranging group travel or an event that might use more than one Peermont property, you can contact Peermont Central Reservations on 0860 777 900 within South Africa or on +27 (0)11 928 1928 from outside the country. For group and corporate sales, Peermont Group Sales can be reached on +27 (0)11 928 1903 or at [email protected]. Those details apply when you need multi-property arrangements or larger event bookings. For standard guest matters, gaming questions or day-to-day enquiries, you contact us directly here at Khoroni.

Our link into the Peermont structure is also the reason our slot floor is supplied with content from Light and Wonder and Scientific Games. New titles are brought in from time to time, and the progressive networks connect machines across play sessions in a way that would be far harder for a single isolated property to maintain.

The resort beyond the casino floor

While the casino is a central feature, Khoroni operates as a full resort. Alongside the gaming floor there is hotel accommodation, on-site restaurants, bars and a convention and conference setup with PA systems, projectors and presentation screens. Quite a lot of guests who first look us up under Khoroni Casino slots online end up booking a stay that combines casino play with a conference, a business meeting or simply a short break.

The hotel has 82 rooms within a garden-style resort layout. Food and drink options are based on the same property, so once you check in you do not need to leave the complex to eat or relax at a bar. For longer trips it becomes a fairly self-contained environment, which in practice is more convenient than it may sound on paper.

Hotel bookings across the Peermont portfolio are managed through [email protected]. If your questions or plans relate specifically to Khoroni, then [email protected] remains the direct contact point.
